This email was forwarded to me yesterday. It sounds like a fun project i'm definitely going to send a tape in:
QUIET ON THE SET! And....ACTION!
The Michael Jackson Fan Club is looking for fans who would like to wish the one and only King Of Pop a Happy Birthday. We have the talents of professional videographers who will take your videotaped best wishes for a happy birthday to Michael Jackson, put them together on one tape and produce a memory we are sure Michael will keep and treasure for many years to come.
If you want to be part of the MJFC Birthday Video To Michael, it's easy BUT you have got to act fast!!
This is what you need to do to be a part of this exciting Birthday Video:
Make a tape no more than 3 minutes long expressing your birthday wishes to Michael. If English is not your native language, that's fine. It would be great for Michael to hear you express yourself in your own language with an English translation following if possible. Please note that we cannot include auditions of musical talent or requests for personal responses.
Mail your tape along with a note containing your name and address and any additional information such as the format of the tape to:

The deadline for submission is August 20, 2004.
The final tape will be delivered to Michael Jackson by August 29, 2004.
You might not be able to see Michael this year, but we can make sure that Michael sees YOU and hears your personal birthday greeting!

Special offer for fans in europe:
We know, time is short and the mail from europe to the US takes some time. MJFC Team member Beate will travel to the US and can take along videotapes from europe.
Fans from Germany can send the video tape to MJFC team member Caroline, Germany. Please e-mail Caroline@mjfanclub.net for the address.
Fans from Austria can send the video tape to MJFC team member Beate, Austria. Please e-mail Beate@mjfanclub.net for the address.
All other european fans are welcome to also send their tapes to either Beate or Caroline. Please check running time for the mail first!
Tapes that are carried on by Beate must arrive on Monday, August 16, 2004 at the latest!
