Something about Michael looked different in that interview to me. I don't know what it was.

I didn't like the interview. There was this one part where Walters was questioning him about his lifestyle, saying he invites all the attention he gets by how he lives and..dresses and such. And when she goes '...by the way you dress'. Michael kinda grabs his suit jacket and closes it...like she made him feel bad about what he was wearing. :careless

Just because Michael doesn't dress like everyone else..doesn't give anyone the right to pry on his private life. Besides, what the hell was wrong with how he was dressed then, or anytime for that matter. It's not like he walks out all the time looking like he doesn't give two craps about what he's wearing like most of these male singers do.

And then there was this time when MJ said that after Princess Diana died he knew that someone would go next, and that he hoped it wasn't him..but it was Mother Theresa. Walters goes 'So are you saying you are psychic?' In such a way that she might as well have said 'You are a dumbass!'.

I didn't like it at all!

I haven't watched the interview but I was told pieces of it and... I didn't like what I heard as well as you. You know, these s*ckers always find to say something wrong and stupid about MJ, nothing's able to surprise me... The way he dresses, the thungs he says, the moves he does - they talk about that 24/7. What's wrong with his clothes?? Nothing. But they talk, talk, talk BS. And I like his clothes, his words and moves.
BTW the clothes don't make the man. And shouldn't be so important whar you wear 'cause the man infront of you speaks to you, not to your clothes.

There are aspects of that interview that I like and a lot of parts that I dislike. Barbara Walters is mostly a bitch to everyone ... so for that I'm not surprised. However, what I do enjoy of that interview is the fact that Michael pretty much defended himself justly for one of the first times in his career.

"Yeah! ***** J.acko, I have a heart and I have feelings, I feel that when you do that to me, it's not nice, dont do it. I'm not a *****."

Even though that broke my heart to hear it come from his mouth, I am glad that he said it (would be even more glad if people actually listened to him.)

And also;

"Maybe I like to live that way, maybe that's the way I like to dress. I don't want paparazzi really, but if they come, write, the nice kind thing to write."

"They chase us... they chase us on their motor scooters, so I tell the driver, I say, 'slow down! you're gon' kill us... I say slow down!...' and he gets out and he yells at these people..."

And when Barbara says, "You can't just keep inviting the media in again and again and at a certain point, shut them back out." And as quickly as she says it, Michael retorts with; "Yes you can."

She says; "Well how can you do that?"

He replies with; "Just by doing that. There is a time where I have a concert, I want whoever wants to come, to come and enjoy the show.... there is a time when I want to go home to bed, to put on my pajamas and to turn out the lights and go to sleep.... you look at what happened to Lady Diana and you tell me... there has to be a line, some kind of boundary... give the star some space. He has a heart... He doesn't want to be called ***** *******..."

I've saw the interview many times. I see nothing wrong with what Michael's wears. Thats what makes Michael an individual and so unique. There are some aspects of that interview which are so pointless, and you would see that Michael was getting uncomfortable with being in her presence. Many of the times I got the feeling that she was being sarcastic, because some of the comments which she made were really irrelevent. Michael was hurt by some of the comment which she came out with, and you would hear it in the tone of Michael's voice

Yeah, I have that interview too. to say it shortly: I hate Barbra, she's a bitch. But Mike did a good job with the whole interview. But it breaks my heart how she goes on with the questions. sigh. When I saw it the first time I didnt hear much what they said, but you can tell even by not hear anything how frustrated he feels. So i read the transcript online twice to kinda remember what is said, then I watched again and it was easier to hear.
