I have been browsing this forum for several months now, and I am just so happy to see the love people have on here and the amazing writing as well. It's been as absolute pleasure to read what people have written. Feeling inspired by all this, I decided to put pen to paper and came up with a tribute to Michael. I can't believe it's nearly 1 year.
Born one august day under a mother's loving gaze,
Striving and reaching for the highest place,
Performing and perfecting each and every day,
Gradually, a star in every way,
Feeling in your heart the need to be the best,
Carrying the aching burden, that you must leave the rest
And so it happens, you soar to the sky,
With every move and beautiful song, the whole world is mesmerised,
Higher and higher, your talent knows no bounds,
Until jealousy starts to make it's disgruntled sounds,
Still you continue to give all that you can,
Your love is never given with an empty hand,
But the voices are loud,
The evil in their souls, hidden behind the darkest shroud,
They have only one goal,
To crush a beautiful human being, with the purest of souls,
Do they sleep well at night?
Knowing what they did, was never right,
But you will live forever,
Your shining star, fading never,
Your voice soft and gentle, like a whisper
Then strong and powerful, like the greatest orchestra,
Dancing with such elegance and grace,
Lighting up the heavens, with that beautiful smile on your face
You are always in our hearts,
And whilst you live there, we are never apart,
We hold onto you with all our might,
In our memories, our dreams you once again take flight,
