Click "User CP"
Click the "Edit Avatar" link
Down at the bottom, you should see:

If you have a custom avatar and want to keep it as it is, leave the fields below as they are.
Use Custom Avatar
[strike]You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.[/strike] Either enter the URL to the image you wish to use, [strike]or use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer. [/strike]
Enter Avatar URL:
[/highlight] [/blockquote]
Make sure you click the radio button next to "Use Custom Avatar"
Type in the url of the avatar you want to use
Click "Save Changes"
Click the "Edit Avatar" link

i found it but i tried to use it and the avatar I want is only 100x100 and it said it was way too big.

yea, i see it now. but it says only 75x75 is permitted..... meanwhile there are avvys bigger as the 'generic avatars'.
Those were specially created and donated to MJEOl by nevah. Any other avatars will need to be no larger than 75x75.
