BoA Takes Meets Quincy Jones:
On April 5, BoA uploaded a photo of her and famous producer Quincy Jones. The photo, which shows BoA in Quincy Jones' embrace, was uploaded on her Twitter along with the message, "Great meeting you!"
She was able to meet Quincy Jones through CJ E&M, South Korea's biggest media conglomerate, who invited him to the country to learn more about its music and culture.
Quincy Jones is known for being the producer of Michael Jackson's "Thriller." He has been nominated 79 times at the Grammys, 27 times of which he took home an award, leaving his legacy as an important figure in pop history.

BoA Poses for Cosmopolitan with Fresh Look:

With her upcoming Hollywood debut for the movie "Cobu 3D" looming, BoA teams up with Cosmopolitan for a unique photoshoot. The stunning Queen of K-Pop fresh and different, posing with a unique hairstyle and even more unique makeup.
When asked about the shoot, the fashion magazine stats that the theme was BoA's four charms. The "unique, energetic, changeable, and mature" shoot displays BoA's unique side. She commented on the shoot saying, "Everyone can wear the same make-up and shoot the same spread, but the photos will all come out different. I wanted to express the concept in a totally different, totally BoA way."
Cobu 3D is set to film in both Toronto and New York and will co-star Derek Hough of "Dancing with the Stars" alongside BoA.

BoA Responds to Japan's Earthquake:

BoA leaves a message for fans on her Twitter regarding the recent tragedy in Japan. On March 14th, she tweets in Japanese, "SOUL and everyone who has been affected by the earthquake in Japan. I feel guilty that I don't have much power to contribute. Various lives were lost in this earthquake, it really is a difficult time. I also feel saddened. Let's all do our best! Also let's all pray to God - for those who have yet to be found and those that have lost their lives."
Japan experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9, which has caused thousands of death and many to go missing. The earthquake has also caused one of Japan's nuclear reactor to explode due to the cooling system failing, as well as a tsunami.
JYJ have also left a heartwarming message for fans in Japan and says "everyone, good luck and try your best."

BoA Asks Fans Not To Record During Her Concerts:
BoA has been watching fancams of her concerts in awe, but has asked fans to stop recording during a concert. On February 22nd, she tweeted, "I've never been able to hear myself from the audience, but I guess this is how it feels like."
The singer held her "The Live 2010 X'mas" last year on December 21st and fans were not allowed to record or take pictures during the concert. BoA performed Stevie Wonder's "Blue Moon" and the Christmas Carol "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". However, these two covers were not included in BoA's DVD "The Live 2010 X'mas" release.
But because taking pictures and recording during a concert is not allowed by the companies, BoA tweeted, "Wait...next time, don't record during a concert...!"

BoA To Begin Filming "COBU 3D" IN Spring:
We reported at the beginning of the month that BoA was getting ready to film her Hollywood movie. The movie is being directed by Duane Adler and produced by Robert Colt. The two have worked together on the dance movie "Save The Last Dance."
Now it's been reported that 'Dancing with the Stars' dancer and choreographer, Derek Hough, will participate in the movie "COBU 3D" with BoA. The filming will begin this spring. The two will play dancers who grew up in different environments. The duo run into each other at an underground New York club and are threatened by one another. However, the story turns into a Romeo and Juliet story as the two fall in love.
Derek Hough is a three time champion on 'Dancing with the Stars' and has earned three Creative Arts Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Choreography for his work on the popular dance show. Prior to his participation on 'Dancing with the Stars,' he took part of the Broadway musical "Footloose" in London. He plans to return to 'Dancing with the Stars' after he finished with "COBU 3D."
In addition to the movie being produced by Robert Cort, CJ Entertainment and SM Entertainment are listed as co-producer of "COBU 3D." Shooting for the movie will begin this spring in Toronto and New York.
"COBU 3D" is a movie that will focus on dance battles and a beautiful love story. A variety of different dances will be seen in the movie such as tap dancing, hip-hop, swing, and more. This movie will be released in 3D and already has high expectations.
BoA's Hollywood debut film is set to be released in early 2012. As the heroine of the movie, BoA will showcase her acting and dancing talents on screen. CJ Entertainment will be distributing the movie in Korea, China, and Japan. Lionsgate International will be the international sales agent with pre-sales beginning at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2011.
