Michael Jackson Conspiracy Book Excerpt

I have just been reading the excerpt to Aphrodite Jones' book Mchael Jackson Conspiracy, and thought yall would be interested. It's very unbiased, it's not all 'Michael is a saint, let's put him on a pedistal', it's written in a honest way, and Aphrodite admits to her mistake in judging Michael in the begining. I don't know if this has already been posted so I'll put the link up anyway. I have a friend who owns the book and said it is really brilliant. The exerpt is 27 pages long and contains a forward by Tom Mesaureu (sp?), the authors note and the first 2 chapters. I really recommend looking at it-

you need to register with your name and email, but once you have you can read the excerpt straight away.

Okay let me edit that- this book is F**KING AMAZING! I WANT IT! I WANT IT NOW!!!!!

I have it :D She really is amazing. Especially for admitting she was wrong about him. I think she has some signed copies available if you add her on facebook.. or there's the usual amazon option :)

Thanks for the link Jeniffer, I am totally into it already! That Ebony magazine cover- *sigh*. The memorial booklet, I have to admit the 'King of Pop' written on the cover kind of bugs me, I think it makes a little impersonal, it brings out the entertainer aspect aspect of Michael and not the human aspect. I know that's got nothing to do with any of this but I wanted to point that out...:cryptic

I think it took a lot of guts for her to admit to that, she knows what we can be like and saying 'I said bad things about Michael and made him look bad and judged him' when she says right at the very start the fans were nasty and didn't believe her- that takes courage. So it is totally forgivable and I really appreciate her honesty.

I've been reading this book on the site, it's kind of difficult to read in a way, I guess because it's so honest, as I said it doens't put Michael on a pedistal and make him look perfect, so any mention of Michael being human, it is awkward. I guess it's just because I'm a fan and I know that anything that doesn't make him look perfect will easily be used by people to make him look bad.

Also, I now officially dispise Gary Coleman, I had no idea that he was making jokes about Michael.

It's basically the true story of the 2005 trial. Aphrodite Jones is a reporter, she used to be a bit nasty about Michael and she admits it, but then she started to think about what she was doing and decided to look at it from a different angle, at all the fans and how Michael would truly feel about the things people say. She came to realise that the media had been manipulating everythnig to make Michael look like a really crazy person and were focusing soley on making him look guilty when in reality- the trial pretty much showed he was completely innocent. She decided to write this book and her aim to to try and prove Michael's innocence, she says that it was obvious he had done nothing and that he was a victim himself. So she got permission from the judge to copy ALL the court transcripts, and look at the evidence, I think she had to inveset in a second computer just to fit everything on there, and then she wrote this book. Tom M. bumped into her and she wanted his input but at first he refused because he thought she was up to something but eventually he came to realise she was totally genuine.
But when she tried to publish the book, nobody was interested in signing her up because she was writing something put Michael in a positive light, so she ended up having to self publish. In April next year (next year as in like 3 days away) Aphrodite will be making an hour long documentary with the evidence she used for the book to prove his innocence.
So thie book is about the entire trial and everything that went down in the courtroom and shows there was never anything found to prove Michael's guilt.

Does Jones inject a lot of religion/spirituality into the book? I thought I read somewhere about her/the book and that it mentions religion a lot. Nothing wrong with this, but it would be better to keep it out of the book.

No, it's The Geraldine Hughes book about the 93 allegations that's like that, which didn't bother me! It's still worth reading! Plus, MJ:michaeljacksonicon: was also spiritual :cloud9 so I'm sure he appreciated it in a way:wink, cause he did read the book and love it as well as the Jackson family!:)

I'm up to page 200 of this book, I've literally been up the entire night reading it. Seriously, how can the media not focus on any of this? It's all crap. And one thing I just read that I didn't know, Janet Arvizo had married a guy who's last name is Jackson, and so her married name is actually Janet Jackson, and she had asked for them to call her that in court. WTF?

"Also, I now officially dispise Gary Coleman, I had no idea that he was making jokes about Michael"

I think you are to quick to judge him, because there is a video on MJEOL where he said he believed he was innocent. That was during the trial.

It's not a matter of wether or not he thinks Michael is innocent, it's the matter of the joke he made that Mesureau wasn't playing the race card in the trial because he wasn't sure what race Michael was, he hasn't been black since 1988. I frankly don't think that's cool at all.

I know that, it was a very bad joke but at least he defended him on national TV. It's a 12 minutes video, he is on that video for only 5 minutes and he stated a lot of times that he was sure according to the testimony that nothing sexual happen. He said a lot of times in these 5 minutes he thought MJ was guilty of being too naive in his relationship with children and adults but was not a criminal and he said that one month before the verdict.
Of course, he said a lot of things during the trial he shouldn't have but at least he defended him. I just wanted to say that.

I have no problem with that at all, and I am very glad he would say that, I'm thankful for it. But it doesn't excuse denying Michael's race for humour. If your going to respect someone, do it properly.

Michael's own sister is accusing Michael of child molestation?!!? WHY?!

:)

Seriously, how can the media not focus on any of this?

Do you remember Michael saying good news doesn't sell? Probably this reason. But, even more likely, journalists just don't give a damn. Child molestor? Very interesting. Innocent guy? Eh, not interesting.

In the United States, you hear stories about child molestors all the time...seriously, turn on Nancy Grace's show, and a lot of it is on suspected child molestors. Child molestation news is HUGE. Child molestors make people angry...and angry people are more likely to watch your show. If there's nothing to be angry about or nothing to fear, why bother watching?

Yeah I know. It's so sad and so shocking at the same time. All they focused on was the negative, they focussed on the fact Michael owning porn made him look guilty (I mean seriously, that's your EVIDENCE?!), they focus on the toys and the sleepovers. I can completely understand how people can look at it and find it suss, that it may make people feel uncomfortable. But people need to open their heart to him. Reading this book makes me so stoked to be a fan, when it talks about the fans coming from all over the world and waving flags from their country- there is no other celebrity on the planet who'd get that. All the fans laying into the media's callous attitude and sticking by Michael. We are so awesome...

A LOT of guys (and girls) own porn. This should show that he was heterosexual (all of the porn was heterosexual), but they say the porn was used to lure kids or whatever. I guess millions of men have porn just so they can lure the kids in their neighborhood! Even if the Arvizo kids wanted porn, they could have looked it up at on their computers at home. But noooooo....they went to Michael's house for porn.

Here's great evidence to catch a pedophile: child porn. Why was child porn never found at Michael's house? It doesn't make any sense. If you are a pedophile, you love child porn. It is extremely easy to find child pornography on the Internet, and yet Michael didn't have any on his computer or anywhere else at his house.

and the sleepovers.

I wouldn't call them sleepovers, because Michael invited adults and children to sleep at his house. The door at Neverland was always open, and Michael was always extending invitations to people (to host their weddings, to come over for the weekend, etc.).

I can completely understand how people can look at it and find it suss

I would never invite kids to my house, but then again, I don't care about kids as much as Michael did. Most of us don't care about kids all that much. We think they're cute and whatever, but that's just about it. But then again, many of us don't know what it's like not to have father (as in Michael's case) or a childhood...and most of us wouldn't extend a hug to sick children.
