Mez done did it again! I knew he was gonna start kicking ass from the beginning! Do you not notice he's talking about things that actually have to do with this case? Unlike somebody...

The only thing that makes me mad is the fact that the prosecutors have this final say.

They are going to bring out the 93' books with the nude boys and smear that all in the jurors faces.

But that good thing is that they've already seen it. It just sucks.

me too Nevah, but even though the Pros. gets the last say...Mez's arguement is still going to stand out more...if this jury think logically! :thumbsup

This is something that I just found and it's from Diane Diomond but it's still very interesting.

Unchecked CourtTV (Diane Dimond) update about Mesereau's case cause it's not bad... And yes, they got the computer fixed.

---
Seven minutes later he returned to the courtroom with susan yu. They're a close team. She bustled in and it was clear that's where all of the graphics were. He needed her in the courtroom. So they plugged in the computer. And it wouldn't work. They had to call in a couple of technicians. They were, you know, looking, trying to look calm and they were feverishly trying to get it to work. At one point, susan looked at michael jackson and mouthed the words, I'm sorry. But anyway, they finally got going. A few minutes later and tom mesereau, i must say, is delivering a powerful and energetic closing argument. It is all about attacking the integrity of this family. Especially the integrity of the mother. He said point blank at the top, he said this is about whether the doe family can be believed to beyond a reasonable doubt. If you don't believe what they said, you must acquit. He then went through a long rendition of what he termed were the mother's scams, jc penney up there. The welfare fraud was up there. He said ask yourself, do i have any problem with anything they have said? If answer is yes, mr. Jackson must go home. He talked a lot about the past testimony and promised that he would take them through transcripts that hasn't occurred yet and giving the outline at the top here. He said the testimony so far prove that is this family are con artists, actors and liars. The mother is so skilled with her tales of woe that people just after hearing her tales of woe simply decide to write her a check. She has committed perjury. I'll show you that in the jc penney suit and other times. You should pause and be suspicious about everything you have heard from every member of that family. It is clear that they were always trying to develop a lawsuit against michael jackson. Then he started talking about his client. Seemingly, pooh-poohing the state's case against him. He said, look at him. He is a genius. He is concerned with going into the studio and creating and sitting in a tree and writing music. He is -- his only and biggest sin is trusting the wrong people to be around him. He has been a target for years ever since the 1994 payout. There were two of them as you remember, nancy. He attacked steve robel the lead detectivive in the case, the powerful video of the young boy please speaking to the police and telling them what he said happened with michael jackson. He said, you know, he from the very beginning said, you know, hi, come in, sit down. We are going to investigate. Michael jackson's wrong and you are right and you're safe now. Giving the clear implication that there hasn't investigated anything but make michael jackson a target. He asked a lot of questions to the jury, nancy. Rather than statements of fact, of look at michael jackson. Does he appear to be somebody who would enter into a conspiracy? Look at the mother and her past. Don't you think that -- and then go into a long rendition. It was very unlike the presentation that ron zonen did earlier today which really was sort of a story about the doe family and how they got swept up in michael jackson's life.
---

---
I don't want to give you the impression he's boring, he isn't. But it's a different presentation. As we took the afternoon break, and we're still in the break here, he was talking about conspiracy and molestation. For example, he -- this is what i meant by pooh-poohing the state's case. He how absurd is it to say the molestation going on in february 20th to march 12th? There was international media scrutiny, not only on michael jackson but on this family. After the bashir documentary. It's unrealistic, he says, makes no sense because the case makes no sense. He talked about the molestation only being presented to them through the testimony of john and jane doe and, again, he said he is going to prove that their stories kept changing. He also, nancy, brought in the fact that this district attorney here in, you know, tom sneddon closest to the jury box, this district attorney has been after him for years. They wanted to humiliate, degrade, dehumanize him. Do you remember the kid that told him about the finances and how bad they were? That's designed to humiliate and tom mesereau said he's had financial problems but he is naive and through the financial difficulties gives $1 million to his friend marlon brando. He said they came in here and waived the pornography magazines around. Okay. He is an adult. There's nothing illegal found in his house. He looks at hustler and playboy and penthouse. It is not illegal. But they bring these magazines in here and they display them up on the big screen. Again, i submit to you he is a target of this -- this district attorney's office and just trying to degrade and humiliate this man who in fact is a genius and a great, you know, sort of a filantlopic individual.
---

---
Diane, how did mesereau, jackson's defense attorney, attack the similar transaction witnesses?

Oh, that's a great question and it happened right before the break. He was talking about the fact that the only -- only testimony you have here that michael jackson committed any act of sexual impropriety is from john and jane doe and hi says it was late at night on the stairs for a couple of seconds. He said, and all those other witnesses you brought in, alleged victims from the '90s, well three of them said nothing ever happened. You know why they brought them in, he said? Because they're desperate. What kind of a system do we have if a family like this comes in here and makes false claims.

Here's more from what I just posted:

TSColdMan@MJJF:
More unchecked CourtTV about Mez:

Diane, let's start with the latest. Tom mesereau for the defense. The high points of his closing thus far.

>> Reporter: He's looking the jury straight in the eye and saying, if you have any doubt about any statement that you heard from any member of this family, then you must acquit michael jackson. It was sort of reminiscent of johnny cochran, if the judge doesn't fit, you must acquit. I thought of the late johnny cochran at that moment. He went through a long rendition of what he said was this mother's wrongdoing. This was basically an attack on the mother. Her welfare fraud. She took the fifth amendment on that. He said, we've proven that that happened. In fact, this mother may still face some charges on this. He talked about the molestation as if it was all a figment of this boy's imagination. He talked about how absurd it is to say that something like michael jackson would in that time period from february 20th to march 12th, when the world media was swirling around him after bashir, that he would take this child to bed and molest him. He said it's unreal listic. It makes no sense. Because this whole case makes no sense. And as to all the other young men who came in here, he said, remember, the state brought in other young men who, as young boys, were at neverland ranch. He said, three of them said nothing ever happened. Because they are desperate. The state is desperate. What kind of a system do we have he asked the jury, if a family like this can come in here and bring false claims against somebody like this. And of course, he was meaning michael jackson. It's a pretty compelling argument. But then again, ron zonen's was pretty compelling this morning, too.

>> We'll get to ron zonen's in just a minute. But has mesereau responded to the real attack that came out of zonen right out of the box that mesereau didn't live up to the promises that he made in his opening statement? Has mesereau responded to that at all?

>> Reporter: Yes, as a matter of fact, that's the first thing he said. I should tell you, there was a strange pause before he started his closing. Zonen quit. We all looked at mr. Mesereau for about a minute. And he got up and left the room. He was gone for about five, six, seven minutes. He came back with susan, who had the computer with all the graphics on it. Then they had the problems getting the computer to work. It was a very uncomfortable time. The jury got restless. But one of the first things he said was, the state has begun -- i just heard a prosecutor start their case by attacking me. Well, i could mention that debbie rowe was supposed to come here and say the whole portion of the rebuttal video with her was scripted. She said the opposite. They were supposed to bring chris carter in here, a neverland security guard. He never showed up. I could tell you that christian robinson, the man that asked the questions to the family during the rebuttal was supposed to come in and say it was all scripted, and he didn't say that either. So, i was wondering how tom mesereau was going to handle that. Because zonen started with mesereau's contract to the jury, and then went all the way through all the things that the state thinks he didn't prove. And I was thinking to myself, mr. Mesereau's got four hours. He's got down pat what he wants to say. But now he has to answer these allegations. And he did it right there at the top.

I've been so busy today. Just got updated on MJJF.

I just knew Mez would be the clear, concise, TO THE POINT man that he is, there's no reason why he has to ramble; I love that he's doing just what he did when he presented the defense's case. Getting to the heart of matter will win you points anyday. No juror wants their intelligence to be insulted.

I'd love to be able to read this closing arguements from start to finish.

Zonen...what a joke. The Arvisos never asked for a dime? Michael forced himself into their lives?! What a pile of sh*t.

I'm sure Michael also forced Mama Arvizo to tell her kids to call him daddy! F*cking Moron! I'd also love to hear both closing arguments in their entirety!
