Seat 1 - Juror #66 - Male - Age 62 - Engineer - Santa Maria:
Believes media can be influential, thought Deepak Chopra was a rapper, married 13 years with 4 grown children, attends plays with his wife, tries to avoid Geraldo, says public believes what they hear instead of sorting it out, has taken law courses, says you have to look at each case; you can't generalize, says he tries to overlook differences in people's lifestyles.
Seat 2 - Juror #80 - Male - Age 63 - Retired:
Says children mostly tell the truth but will twist it a bit when it benefits them, has 2 adult children, married 8 years to an accountant, trusts government but questions war in Iraq and Vietnam, enjoys Old West art and does bronze casting, likes country/western stuff, has postgraduate degree, doesn't look at celebrity, sees Michael as a person who needs a fair trial.
Seat 3 - Juror #108 - Female - Age 50 - Horse Trainer - Solvang:
Saw LWMJ with Bashir and said that it was HIS (Bashir's) spin on it, no children, married to engineer for 28 years, says she owns 2 Jackson albums, thinks Michael is a wonderful entertainer, gives animal therapy to abused children, surprised by Mike's size; described him as small with lots of energy, skeptical about media coverage, says she was subject to many media inaccurate stories when she was an Olympic hopeful.
Seat 4 - Juror #26 - Female - Age 51 - High School Teacher:
Has teenage son and daughter, husband is an engineer, has graduate degree, says she danced to Michael's music when she was younger, she is also a retired computer programmer, likes to go to art galleries, critical of the media; says it interferes with getting a fair trial, says system can still be fair but it makes it harder to find jurors, says she never follows sensational cases.
Seat 5 - Juror #100 - Female - Age 79 - Retired:
Says she heard more about Michael in Russia than here in the US, widower with 2 adult children, she has a firm, loud voice, she has lived in the county for 1 year, some college, watches Jeopardy every day; calls herself a Jeopardy freak, says her children love Michael Jackson, she says they dance like MJ and she enjoys watching them moonwalk, says her grandson copped a plea and is listed as a sex offender, says this would help her be fair to Michael, says she bought perfume from a JCP clerk who once worked at Neverland, she is an old movie buff, likes things that make her happy, says she doesn't assume anything about anybody.
Seat 6 - Juror #157 - Female - Age 22 - Physical Therapist Aide - Lompoc:
Has 2 young daughters and lives with boyfriend, some college, works in nursing home, has an Aunt who visited Neverland, says Michael's music was long before her time , says she hopes he finds a fair jury despite all the press coverage, says she knows children can lie because of her experience with her own children.
Seat 7 - Juror #107 - Female - Age 42 - Special Ed Aide for SP students - Vandenburg Village:
Says she really likes Michael music, she is a Detroit native with a 6-yr military background, she is married with 4 children ranging from 4-20 years of age, she has an Associates degree, her sister was a victim of sexual assult as a young girl, her sister's children were molested by their father who is in prison in Florida, believes in making her own decisions about things, says she still can be totally open to both sides.
Seat 8 - Juror #151 - Female - Age 39 - Senior Office Specialist:
Has lived in county for 5 years, says she knows Michael is a great artist but that's about it, married to a reporter and has no children, first language is Indonesian, has Associate degree, works for Santa Barbara County, says she is skeptical about media and would like to think they don't affect jury decisions, thinks children do lie; says it is easier to get the truth out of lying children than it is to get it from lying adults, says she gets most of her news from FOX, says she is a Bill O'Reilly fan.
Seat 9 - Juror #88 - Female - Age 45 - Supermarket Worker - Solvang:
Hobby is cooking, married with 3 children ages 14-26 but her children live in Texas, her first language is Castilian Spanish, husband was arrested for drunk driving, says she never followed Michael's career but grew up with his music, thinks he is a wonderful entertainer, says she never pays attention to media reports about celebrities; says she just kinda blows it off.
Seat 10 - Juror #153 - Male - Age 20 - Assistant Head Cashier - Santa Maria:
Single with no children - high school graduate, very soft spoken, answered most questions with a YES or NO responses, Hispanic, his brother-in-law has a sister who works for Michael's doctor, his sister and her boyfriend have been to Neverland, says he prefers the Simpsons over the news, says he normally watches FOX but is skeptical of the news, says he definitely can keep an open mind.
Seat 11 - Juror #101 - Male - Age 21 - Student:
Has a sly, self-depreciating sense of humor, single with no children, wants to be a motor sports journalist, he is disabled and in a wheelchair, visited Neverland when he was in the 6th grade with his Cerebral Palsy group, says media coverage is way too much for something like this, says children like him because they are taller than he is, calls his 3-year old nephew his "mini-me" and likes having him around, said man who brought lawsuit against restaurants made disabled people look bad.
Seat 12 - Juro #77 - Female - Age 44 - Social Service Worker - Santa Maria:
Has lived in Santa Maria for most of her life, divorced from former SB County Police Officer and has an adult son, believes children can be influenced by their parents, likes museums and theatre, had a step-child who used to lie to her a lot, says she would be cautious with child's testimony; says she would scrutinize the child's testimony a bit more, says justice system prevails despite the media, says Michael is a great entertainer
Nobody knows how long the deliberations will take. But he won't have to go back until they hear from the court that the jury has made their decision. Then they will go to the court and hear the verdict.
