Hopefully. :) Nobody knows how long the deliberations will take. But he won't have to go back until they hear from the court that the jury has made their decision. Then they will go to the court and hear the verdict.

So basically, it can happen at *any* time.

Ok your saying if the jury does make a verdict today Michael does not have to be there until monday right? OOh and what does this mean??????

Laura Ingle (Fox): some jurors nodded in agreement when watching Michael talking about his love for children, animals etc. from the Bashir doc :crystalball:

Okay, good. Then I agree with you. As long as you weren't pointing fingers at anyone, because as you surely know, when you do that there are three more pointing back at you.

When the jury makes their decision, MJ will have 1 hour to return to the court to hear the verdict. Nobody knows when that will happen, though. :)

Wow, I can't believe it! After all this time, they're finally deliberating. I'm so nervous but Mez did such a kick ass job in his closing argument!

OK here's whats gone down:

f/MJNO:

The jury have started their process. They will be selecting a foreperson, and begin deliberating. They can leave at 2.30 if they want, or they could stay until 5.30.

I believe they will stay it out, and deliberate through the day because they want to get this over with. Their jobs, lives, etc. have been put on hold for 4 months. They want this out the way, and they have already said that they think they can reach a verdict today.

Correct. The jury will only deliberate during court hours. But if it's too close to the end of the day, they'll likely wait to announce that they have come to a verdict until the following court day.

Roger Friedman gave Zonen an A for his closing, But gave Mez an A+ for his!! I disagree with the A he gave Zonen, but everything else I agree with.

Michael has left the courthouse and is very likely returning to Neverland.

He will not have to be at the courthouse until the jury reaches the virdict.

When the jury reaches the virdict, they tell the baliff, the baliff tells the judge, and the judge tells both sides of attorneys.

Michael will be given an hour to return to the courthouse and then the virdict is read.

I think since the deliberating procees has begun, the posting of a description from each Jury member would be greatly valuable.

f/MJNO:

Great points MEZ made:

1) "Ladies and gentlemen, it only takes one lie under oath to throw this case out of court," Mesereau said to the jurors. "You can't count all the lies under oath by (the family). How many does it take to let you know this case is a fraud?"

2) He said that in molestation cases police typically have the alleged victim make a "pretext" phone call to ask incriminating questions as police listen in.

3) He noted that the boy testified that both Jackson and his grandmother told him on different occasions that if men didn't masturbate they might rape women.

"What are the odds of his grandmother and Michael telling him word for word that exact same statement," Mesereau said.

Point 3 : He is absolutely right, what are the odds of that???

You see what iam talking about the jury wants to read it to Michael today!

The jury does not have to wait until monday they can still do it today!! :thumbsup

A bit of interesting jury deliberation info I just heard:

When a jury gets together to deliberate the very first time, before they've even selected a foreman, they take a vote by raising their hands. They ask anyone who thinks the defendant is "guilty" to raise their hand. If NO ONE does, then that's it. It's over.

Soooooo, IF this did happen today, Michael could actually be called back to court and set freeeee today!

Please let this happen so Michael Jackson can be free today!

Trace Galagher from Fox News, reporting Jim Hammer said he heard the jury laugh it got into the deliberation room. He didn't know what it means ???
