Hey everyone. So, as Violet Flower had mentioned a few days ago, June 25th for 2011 this year is coming up very soon on us, and I thought it would be beneficial for a thread where everyone can post their information, if they have any, for the celebrations that are going to be happening very soon. Army of L.O.V.E. Parties, Purity and Love Parties, Celebration of His Life functions, vigils, tribute gatherings, and visitations to various monumental Michael sites are underway this month. You can add local or international stuff pertaining to this auspicious day, and if anyone would like to share thoughts, wishes, resolutions, and words this month, please add them here for everyone.

On June 25th Auspicious Eve, and the night of, if anyone would like to participate in the lending of their words and speaking, posting them here, please feel free to do so. For those who cannot attend other Celebrations of Life Gatherings, there can be words posted here for everyone to share in, and find solice in. My own function we hold is our POPKOM Celebration (Prince of Peace King of Music), one which I host at my house. So I will be happy to lend words and celebrate in spirit, with each and every one of you. :boxing

For those who don't have a function for yourselves, have a quiet reflection or resolution to make in honor of Michael and his L.O.V.E. for us all. We are his Army of L.O.V.E., and it is up to us to take this upcoming day as another opportunity to reflect and carry out his mission and his integrity, renew our purposes and passion, rededicate to the ideals that Michael has taught us, and celebrate the life that changed every one of us for the absolute better, and stronger. !!!

There is going to be a celebration of Michael’s musical gift to this planet and of course a celebration of his life in music!. Last year was the first party and even though there were many tears (mostly mine lol!) ; everybody danced, laughed and sang their hearts out to each hit of Michael’s and the Jackson Five and even Ms. Janet!.

I danced so much that I ran out of dance moves and just started to jog in place LOL!!! It’s amazing what a catalog of musical hits Michael and the Jackson Five gave us, truly amazing. Of course when Thriller and Wanna Be Startin Something played the entire party just went wild with joy!!! I’ll never forget it.
Thank you dear Michael! (and Janet, Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, Jackie, Randy, Rebbe, and even Latoya had a few songs)

I’ll be paying my respects in California this year (God willing), but I hope some of you will be able to make this wonderful party in honor of the KING OF MUSIC!… pass along to anyone who loves Sunshine, Moonlight, Good Times, and the Boogie!!! And of course who loves Mr. Michael Jackson!

Hi, everyone!
We are a few norwegian fans who are hosting an event for MJ in London this summer, and we would love all you MJ fans to be a part of it!
This summer it will be 2 years since our idol, inspiration and role model died. We do not want any fans to be alone this day. We therefore invite you to join us, to remember our loved Michael Jackson.
First, we gather at the O2 arena, at 2pm. There will be many fans there. We can get together and remember Michael Jackson as the great man he was. Hanging up posters, poems, and what we would wish.

In the evening (7pm) we head off to The Lane Bar near Algate East tube station. Here everyone will have the opportunity to buy a Michael Jackson-inspired dinner at the restaurant.
After dinner we go into the bar, where it will be half price for the drinks untill 10pm. Here you have to be 18 years old. There will be an entrance fee of £ 5 at the door. This is due to the entertainment, etc.

The money that is left over will be given to charity. Wich charity the money will go to is your choice. You can choice between some of the charity that Michael used to give money too. There will be a vote.

We will have contests and entertainment. (Possibly karaoke). We also have a DJ who will play Michael Jackson music all night (depends on how many fans that will come).

Not all details are in place yet, but we have the bar, DJ and the arrangement in place!

* Half-price drinks until a certain time
* Competitions
* Michael Jackson-impersonator (exactly who we can not say yet)

On June 25, 2011 fans from near and far will be meeting at Forest Lawn, Glendale to mourn the death of Michael J. Jackson. We will join together at 12 noon at Forest Lawn to remember a man who was gone to soon but will always live in our hearts. MJFSC is proud and honored to annouce that Reverent June Juliet Gatlin, Spiritual Advisor to Michael Jackson, will bless us with a prayer and special tribute to honor the life and spirit of Saint Michael Jackson.

While at Forest Lawn, there will be time to be near Michael on the outside of Holly Terrace, mourn, cry, laugh and be with your MJ family during this hard time.

Around 6pm we will drive to the area near the Encino compound where we will start a candle light vigil down Hayvenhurst Ave until we reach the home of the Jackson's where the fans will join in and sing, "Cry" in honor of our fallen angel. Fans from across the world will also be singing, "Cry" on this night. We are hoping that fans from around the world will come out to remember Michael. Everyday he is missed. It's amazing how many tribute concerts are going to take place on June 25. I can barely believe it's been two years.

Although I do not have any special events in my area, I do plan on taking the day off from work as a day of relecting on Michael in general. I hope that those of you who are able to attend events have a really good time. Even though the purpose of these events may have a sad overtone I am sure that just being with other fans to celebrate Michael will be very nice.

MJ Tribute Show In Seattle, WA

(02-06-2009) On Friday, June 5, 2009, Nectar Lounge in Seattle, WA (USA) will be hosting a Michael Jackson tribute show. Joey Porter of the funk-inspired Joey Porter’s Tribute, along with several other of the hottest musicians in the West will come together to pay tribute to Michael’s greatest hits. DJ Indica Jones will also be on hand to keep the party going in between musicians.

The Michael Jackson extravaganza will be at Nectar Lounge on Friday, June 5 at 9pm. The show is 21 and up and tickets are $10 advance.

I didn’t even see the video at first, the song just started playing on a site I was on and it knocked the wind out of my lungs, and I seriously had to regroup. In order to keep that dream and that vision alive, on the 25th of June 2011 we will be holding the Second annual worldwide simultaneous candlelight vigil in his honor. @ Autumn: Of course I will!.. :cherry Unfortunately all day I've been checking and haven't found any publicized function in Maine yet. The only function I've found is a roadtrip FROM Maine TO Gary, IN, and they leave in 2 days.. I'm sorry, but I'll keep looking in the next 3 days to see if I find anything for you. All I've got now is a performance at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto on June 24th where Jermaine's going to do a tribute performance at the IFFA Fashion Show. :/ I'm sorry.. Taking a stand for Michael

"Millions upon millions of people have expressed their love for Michael Jackson. This outpour of admiration from people of all ages and backgrounds; from all over the world has been astonishing, since his passing. Has there ever been more tributes for someone ever, ever? It has got to be the most wide-spread, record-breaking and intense expressions for one person of all time.

It continues to be a rising fever of fans, growing supporters of his innocence, and curious onlookers of his magnetism. Non-profit organizations, forums, groups, countless blogs and websites have developed in light of his spirit with further dedication to healing the earth and humanity. This is truly beautiful.

We share a common ground that is love. This is something very powerful; something we should never take for granted. What we need to do is bring this wondrous love into a brighter light by clearing his name.

I ask you to ponder the horror that Michael experienced (which we can only imagine). Yet, he prevailed through it all. He continued to be a good father and pursue his creative endeavors despite what he tolerated. There is great strength, healing and love to come from Michael’s power of example; to have endured so much and keep going. Though he should never have been in a position, so awful, that he felt he needed to go into exile.

As supporters of Michael Jackson’s innocence, legacy and honor, I feel we have an opportune responsibility. Many people have heard Michael’s music and failed to listen. Many more listen now, yet there are more doubters of his honesty who we need to reach. To really know the essence of his music, is to know love. To know this love is to know his truth.

Since the media caused such disgrace to his honor and chooses self-righteousness over integrity, “it’s up to us” to share his love, as he is not here. Approximately 50% of Americans still doubt MJ’s innocence to this day due to the perverse sensationalism of media. Why should media get away with misrepresenting people; especially someone who has given so much ? Now media has capitalized off of fans by changing their tune and glorifying Michael’s music. Yet, keep in mind media has never expressed remorse for capitalizing off of lies and what they did to Michael.

So, we need to change the statistics. We’re greater than media in numbers and integrity. It can be done because there are facts which prove our case. The Uncover Michael’s Name team has just proven that we are capable of clearing his name. This matters simply because Michael matters to us. His spirit matters, his legacy matters and truth matters.

The media horrendously divides people with their opinions, falsehoods and gossip. We’re much better than that as we are not only aware of Michael’s innocence, we realize that there is a great need for unification of the world in order to heal this earth. MJ himself reminded us that “There’s nothing that can’t be done, if we raise our voice as one!” “We are one.” This is of the utmost importance with respect to Michael. Until the dark cloud, which has loomed over his legacy dissipates; we need to continue to stand for his truth; for as long as ignorance thrives.

Please consider that until his name is cleared, he will not be rightfully recognized for his charitable work, as a true power of example to all.

We’re on the offense. There is no need to defend MJ because the facts have been out a long time now. What we need to do is re-expose the facts since the media failed Michael, failed us and the public at large. “It’s up to us” to speak up for his innocence as we acknowledge all of the love he has shown us." :heart

Sunflowers for Michael and California-Channel Islands Helicopters have come up with a beautiful trip over Neverland and a flower drop for the 24th and 25th of June!! The half-hour "Flight Over Neverland" event costs $175 per person and $500 for a private flight of up to three people.
The Santa Barbara News-Press reports the flights run from 9 a.m. to sunset on June 24 and June 25.

#5 'Unconditional Love' (by Elmira)

Before I can explain fully how Michael taught me about pure, unconditional love, I need to become deeply personal and explain my past and my inner demons and fears, so you can appreciate the full magnitude of his impact on me.

I am not afraid to bare my soul as I only hope with all my heart that others can benefit from reading my experience and heal in the way I was healed. My heart was healed although it was broken first due to the grief of losing him, even though I had never met him or was even a fan of his music!

When I was in my teens I searched for love everywhere, never finding any, feeling slightly desparate at a mission to find someone to give all that love to that I had inside of me. I was blessed with a loving family and many friends but that what I yearned for most, true love, eluded me. The more I searched for it, the unhappier and unfulfilled I felt, and the more lost and lonely and unloved I felt. Oh sure, many loved me as a good friend, someone to talk with, someone to dance with, someone to laugh with, someone to cry with, but not in a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of way. After a while I became used to being alone and I gave up on love altogether, thinking it wasn't for me, it simply wasn't "in the cards".In the movie theater I heard music that drove the loneliness home, yet it was sometimes strangely soothing in a way I couldn't understand.

Love became a very abstract word, and I couldn't understand what people meant when they said "You haven't lived fully, if you haven't loved". What did that mean for me? I was a bad person for not having a husband?? So I would be punished twice?

Life went on, I was happy enough in my job, travelled abroad as part of my job giving training to others, had a car, bought a house with a garden, my dream, but no man in my life. Some years I cannot even remember very well as they blur into a meaningless mush of days, weeks and months of working, sporting, meeting with friends, shopping, eating and sleeping.

Fast forward to June 25, 2009. I was captivated by Michael and what he stood for. After a couple of weeks or months, I can't really remember when it took place, I realized that my heart had opened to pure, unconditional love. I was feeling loved and able to share without bounds from this fountain of pure, unconditional love in my heart. I knew what love is all about, and what it's not, and Michael taught me this. And the music in the movie theater that I heard so many years ago that was also strangely soothing? Now I realized it was Michael's songs that had prepared my heart for the right time when it would be touched and changed so powerfully!

This wonderful gift fills me with the deepest gratitude and compassion for those around me. I feel so blessed and also thankful for my wonderful MJ-family with whom I can share these experiences with and others feel the same way. To me that is Michael's Miracle come true! I will always love you, Michael!

I felt like the brown mud in which the lotus has her roots, unworthy of any love. But then the Light and the Love shone intensely all that time. A tiny lotus root had traveled through mud, murky waters, clearer waters still until there was a surface. There a lotus bud lay waiting to be touched. Waiting for what? Touched by whom? She really didn't know. Finally, the Light and Love were able to reach her and touch so she could bloom like she was meant to bloom from the start.

Things I Learned from Michael Jackson: #2 'I'm Me' (by Bianca)

Where to start? Because really, Michael Jackson is someone who had so much to teach to each all of us. Not just fans, not just us, but also thém. ‘Them’ didn’t always get the lesson, they/them often couldn’t care. But the funny thing is, they/them wouldn’t have to. Michael taught them anyhow. Those of us who did listen have a lot of stories to share. Mine is probably one each of you can relate to.
We’re all different, all spend a life in which we’re taking different paths and yet we share something that bonds like nothing ever bonded. Michael taught me to be, to feel and to see. He taught me that it’s okay to be shy, okay to be weird, okay to be misunderstood, okay to say no, okay to be an outcast. Because it’s called ‘being unique’. He taught me it’s okay to strive for perfection, okay to fight for what you want, okay to have dreams, okay to live up to your own standards and not those of others. Because it’s called ‘having passion’. He taught me it’s okay to care, okay to love like no one else does, okay to spend time alone and enjoy it, okay to feel worthy, okay to be most beautiful. Because it’s called ‘being yourself’. Michael taught me it’s okay to feel friggin’ proud of each and every one of these things. Because you know what, no one is ever going to be ‘you’.
There is only one you, and you have only so little time here on this planet. Make sure you used your voice, shared your heart and showed your vision. So that when you live your last day and see this teacher waiting for you, you can look back, smile and say: “I’m me”.
