No, your ears were not deceiving you. I was flipping through the channels and flipped past NBC, who are covering the Olympics.

Yall know how we are when we hear the name Michael Jackson or his music. Our ears perk up. :lol

They were playing Don't Stop Til You Get Enough. I must have caught the last of it, but check it out:

(must have flash installed)

Yeah, I just thought I'd post it. You know how people are always excited and stuff when they walk into a music store and they're playing Mike's music? well that was my little MJ contribution for today. :D

I just love it when that happens. Finally Michael is getting back the credit he deserves:D

hmm since he's in Italy, I wonder if he might attend some of the games ;)

You know, that's what I was thinking too. He may be there to see some of the different games. Or he could be there to take in the Italian architecture. :P

Nice feel-good post.

hahaha, Like yesterday I was in Dillard's (a department store), just browsing the shoe department.

It happens to be situation near the Lancome cosmetics counter which for whatever reason, had a soundtrack playing behind the counter. I guess they were trying to project a more cutting edge image, I dunno.

Guess what they were playing.

Butterflies.

Niiiiice.

So needless to say, I like Lancome now. :lol

Yes, I saw the entire opening ceremony and I heard it from the first beat. I loved it. :D They played all kinds of hits from the 70s and 80s.

So great to hear his music in such occassion. I wouldn't be too surprised if Michael in person showed up in Torino either ;)

Thank you, Leah

Thank you for everything,

I saw the clip, thanks Jeff. It's funny to me. Ususally Opening Ceremonies are so...ceremonial, lol... I'm actually surprised that they chose to play pop music, period.

How nice :D

They played Never Can Say Goodbye later on in the parade.

So good to hear!
