Per suggestion from the big Ebony thread, this is the separate thread for the folk who already got their copies and want to talk about the interview, what was said and post excerpts from it so as not to spoil it for those of us who are waiting on ours.

HAVE AT IT! :8-26-03fruits_apple

Ok Ok Favorite quote of the article ( atleast the portion where people are speaking about him;) ) Page 82 "In some ways, Michael was like a child. And in some ways, he was very sophisticated," ... "He was a very smart businessman, would read contracts as good as lawyers could."

~ Walter Yetnikoff

I don't know why, but the thought of that just makes me want to jump his bone:mf_w00t2:

lol smoody. Well, A smart man IS a turn on, I gotta admit!

One of my faves is when he's talking about the musical process and the layers of music and comparing it to gestation during pregnancy and all that. Man's got a way w/words! :thumbsup And when he's taking about music of today. Everything he said is true. You know he doesn't ever want to offend so he says everything so diplomatically!

Only thing I regret is that I wish the interview was longer, it seemd like it ended on an abrupt note!

Heaven Sent,

I completely agree, the interview ended very abruptly. I thought the very samething. However the fact that we can hear from him felt so good. I am so pleased. I know we all are!:D

I rather enjoyed that part, too. :P :D

Hey, what did you guys think of his answer (or lackethereof? :lol ) on the presidential race? He basically took this totally non-political, "principal of the matter", issues instead of politics, stance, instead of giving an actual opinion on Barack, Hilllary, or anyone else. Which didn't exactly SURPRISE me perse, as Michael's never really been too outspokingly POLITICAL in the first place, it's always been more about issues (like peace, the environment, etc), which he does, of course, through his music mainly, but always interesting nonetheless. I'm not so sure if I agree with his response perse, as I do think it's important to get a decent candidate into office to assist in solving the problems, like global warming, that he talked about, to make the change, but I also understand and appreciate the heart of what he was saying as well..and I sure don't blame people for not exactly jumping to trust a lot of politicians, knowing how Washington can be, the nature of the game, and all.. Also, Michael admittedly doesn't watch that much TV and such, so it wouldn't surprise me if he really DIDN'T "follow that stuff" that much, LOL..ah Michael, ever the diplomat. :P

I really love the interview, though. It sounded and felt so relaxed, like he was comfortable just..TALKING to Ebony, just open and positive all around. Love it! :D
