Oh, Prince ain't playin'.  :popcorn
Not bad for a first job.

Pop star Michael Jackson's son, Prince Michael I, made his debut Monday as a correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight."

"I just turned 16," Jackson told stars from the new movie "Oz the Great and Powerful" during his first interview for "E.T."

Before his chat with the "Oz" cast, Jackson's new colleague, correspondent Brooke Anderson, gave the young star some tips of the trade. Anderson says she was impressed with his maturity.

"That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right," Prince Michael Jackson said of his famous father, who died in 2009 from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol.

The King of Pop's son says one of the stars he looks most forward to getting the chance to interview is "Lord of the Rings" filmmaker Peter Jackson.

Jackson can be seen in various reports on "E.T." all this week.

Tell us: What did you think of Jackson's reporting debut?

'He raised me right': Prince Michael Jackson pays tribute to his dad as he lands a job in showbiz

19 FEBRUARY 2013

Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince Michael Jackson has landed a job as a reporter for American showbiz news channel Entertainment Tonight.

The 16-year-old's first assignment will be to interview some of the cast and crew from the upcoming film Oz the Great and Powerful, including director Sam Raimi and actors James Franco and Zach Braff. Clips of the interviews will be aired later this week.

"I've been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed," said Prince Michael.

The budding reporter has received coaching sessions from Entertainment Tonight veteran Brooke Anderson. He told her, "I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor."

When she commented that he seems much older and wiser than 16, Prince Michael replied, "That's what most of my people say. That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right."

The ambitious teen hopes director Peter Jackson will be his next interviewee. "I love his movies. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and King Kong. I just love the way he shoots.

"I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together."

His new job will throw him into the spotlight that his late dad was so keen to protect his children from. Along with his two siblings, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, the trio had been kept out of the public view until Michael's memorial in 2009.

Since then, Prince Michael has been seen on a handful of occasions, often representing his father. Just months after he passed away in February 2010, the then 12-year-old accepted a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement on his behalf. The following autumn, he signed replicas of his dad's Beat It and Thriller leather jackets for a special amazon.com sale.

When many of his social peers are living off the fat of their Father's lands he has landed his first paying gig and taking the first step to accomplishing his goal.  I so respect that.

Prince said: "That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right."

Yes he did.  There are all kind of ways to Advocate for Michael and I feeling his children are one of the finest examples of that just by being themselves.

I remember watching one of the few, but still too many HLN programs I viewed in 2009.  There were these creatures masquerading as humans on the show.  They were discussing the children shortly before the Memorial.  One claimed to be a child psychologist.  This means she has been trained to understand children and what can effect their mental well being.  This "creature" sat on National TV on a program with if Michael's children was not watching might one day and said:  "We need to prepare ourselves for the children.  I am considering offering my service to the family for their rehabilitation.  There are sure to be issues which will need to be addressed after such a long exposure to Jackson".

I thought.... who in the fuck does this bitch think she is and then I threw a book at the TV.  No damage to the TV, but plenty to my belief professionals on these programs were just that professional.  I now know better.

I hope that Cow has been watching Prince and Paris.  Thank God she did not go through with her offer or was turned away, because I would not let her near roadkill let alone ANY human being.
