I really get irritated when I hear people say that people in the states don't support Michael.
I hear it all the time from media outlets, haters, etc. They always make it seem as though
Europe & Asia are the only continents supporting him.
I'm constantly hearing bullshit about his latest musical releases since 1993 having all been
disapointments in the states.
It bothers me because I'm from the U.S. & I LOVE Michael & I've
met so many others here who do too, or at least buy his music.
What do y'all think?
Girl, I've been voicing this for the past couple weeks now.
I feel ya, OK. It really gets on my nerve too.
It seems this observation is based only on record sales!!
As long as WE know that our love, support, admiration and respect
for Michael hasn't dwindled, we'll just hafta say to hell with the rest!!

All I know is that when MJ came to Chi, it was CRAZINESS. Even when he stood outside Virgin Records, the WHOLE Time Square STREET was BLOCKED OFF. MJ gets love in the states, and when he comes back, he will still get love. I mean, after this trial, it makes it feel even better what had happened today. Today I was just walking down the street to hear on guy BLASTING Michael in his car, I mean BLASTING. The a moment later another car zoomed by BLASTING MJ. And I mean, I've heard MJ played on rotation hear in Chi. So where I live...I don't see where peeps are getting that MJ has no fans here.

I bought the cd coz I think the whole reason it has been released is coz its a way of seeing who will buy his album now that he has been found not guilty. I bought it to show that there are fans, a way of support, you know what I mean? (not to say that if you didn't buy it your not supporting him) To see if his sales will increase, coz that's what the media base his fans on, even though they are forgetting the people who are disadvataged and cant AFFORD his albums. Pfft... the media is so pathetic, I hope they can dig their own grave coz there aint nobody coming to their funeral...
I LOVE MICHAEL

All of you on here made some pretty good points and I agree with most of you.
I for one, I am a PROUD AMERICAN MJ fan! :thumbsup
It's just our damn media, just as everyone has said, that twist things around and treat him like he's one of those terrorists or something! It's sad cause he derserves sooooo much better, cause it's citizens like him that makes America great and proud!

If no one is a fan of his music here anymore (I'm being sarcastic ) then he sure is a interest of people's fascination here, cause he get's more press than the dangon president! I remember they briefly went over something on the news talking about Bush, and quickly went back to reporting "The Jackson Trial"!
And another thing, please don't take offense to this anyone, but Michael is a powerful, Black man, IN AMERICA! I'm making a point and I hope u all know what I'm trying to say!

I still love him and this trial has shown that Michael still has some die hard American fans, and they keep getting younger and younger! :thumbsup

You know what? I live in America and I am a proud fan of Michael's Jackson's. DON'T SAY HE DOESN'T HAVE FANS HERE BECAUSE HE HAS MANY. (not talking to anyone here, :)) He'll forever have fans here in the USA.
