I stand alone in a faded black sweater
watching the rain pour from the coal black sky
I think about life and other things in the world.
i seemed so small compared to life. Its so much
bigger then what it seems. even if its only a short
period of time. I looked down and saw a puddle
gather at my feet. A raindrop ran down my face, it felt
cool against my hot cheek.
Remember When Children can run
down the streets playing tag
Walking To A Friends House
Without being taken from their families
Without being hurt by other kids
When They Could Actualy laugh at something funny
without laughing at someone getting hurt, or crying
When Children had Loving families
And had a Dad that didnt get drunk
And a mother who didnt gamble all their money away....
The healing has began
two worlds collide never knowing
who's winning, losing isn't part of the game
step by step you'll fall to your knees
drowning in your ways of living
Theres a little person living inside you
feeling everything you feel
crying every tear you cry
The right things,
can do Wrong to the Little Person
I let my tears fall, never wipe them away, proud
to cry for those I love, Proud to say that i can
feel what most can't, Tears of happiness
tears of sarrow, Tears that show I care..
Crying is nothing to be ashamed of
we all cry, inside and out
