Animated Blends/avatars etc

Does anyone here know of a good tutorial, or who can explain it to me reeeeeally easily :laugh how to make a blend with an animated bit in it? I have no idea how to go about it

yeah i'd like to know how to animate stuff...
i did my own siggy, but dont ask me how. i just messed around until i thought it was ok. i tried doing it again, but i didnt remember how i did it. :lol:
