Deliver Me To You

Somewhere between you and I
There lies a place of secrets,
A ground where no one dares to go
I've seen the way, I know the path
I've uncovered the mysteries and myths,
So wait for me, I'll begin my walk
Let my heart carry me and deliver me to you.

Though I know the task is mean
And the struggle so tormenting,
I won't let it control my belief
I receive your call, I follow your light
My truth is within finding you out there,
So wait for me, I'll uphold my travels
Let my love lead me and deliver me to you.

As the sun sets on today
A calm breeze awakes me,
A silhouette appears afar
I know it's face, I recognise
A step forward discovers it is kind,
You waited there, for I finished my search
I fall inside your radiance and I am found.



I do not know if the last verse is right yet. Please let me know if you think it works. :)

Oh, something you all might like to know about this poem - I wrote it with religion in mind. I don't know if you can see it in the poem. As Keerthi once said to me, my poems have an element of mystery sometimes, so I tried not to show exactly what I was thinking.

I know see what you are talking about. Because u have mentioned it, it can be seen.. the religion thing.. or else, its still a mystery as always :)
