I'm sick and tired of all the fan fighting I've been seeing.Not on here, but other sites. Seems there's a lot of tension going on with Karen Faye, TINI and other fans, and I'm sick of it. It just makes me hurt and confused. Michael would hate seeing his fans against each other. I will not take any sides in this. I understand people are still grieving, but that doesn't mean you have to take it out on others. I'm tired of this blaming. It makes me sad and depressed.

I posted in the "Are We Hating Too Much" thread. I agree with you. I became a friend of Karen's on FB and I hate seeing the way they attack some fans. Karen saw something on another thread that a fan had written about her and didn't like and she posted the website and the person's username on FB. WTF? I used to think that Karen was such a good friend to Michael, but now I have my doubts.:glare:

Yeah I know what you mean Jennifer, I don't like what's going on. People are saying she created a 'list' and that fans are harassing people on that list. I haven't seen it, so I don't really know anything about it. But I hate this

Could you guys please share some details on this? I haven't been following any of this stuff. I wasn't aware of fan in-fighting or why anyone would fight Karen Faye. I don't know what started all of this, and what the debate/fight is all about. I pretty much spend all of my MJ time on MJEOL.

I used to think that Karen was such a good friend to Michael, but now I have my doubts.

What did she do or say?

I know there are disagreements over whether we should buy the Rabbi's book, but that's it.

Without knowing any of this stuff, I have to point out that Internet fights are silly and pathetic. The Internet is not serious business. We don't need additional drama.

I don't really know but I think what the TINI fans trying to imply is that some of them were there at the rehearsals, outside the Staples, seeing Mike arrived and talking to him for a short period of time. They were there witnessing what Mike looked like almost every rehearsals I think saying that Mike was not that well as he looked so thin than he used to be (comparing it to the Dangerous and HIStory tours) and that there's no way Mike could make it to that 50 shows although the TINI fans didn't say that Mike WAS SICK OR ILL! I think what they are trying to imply as well is that Mike shouldn't do all 50 shows if he could not and would not and that AEG should have foreseen this! But of course we are seeing him on the THIS IS IT docu. film how vibrant and into it Mike was and that the TINI fans said that those footages that were shown weren't the entire footages they captured Mike and it wasn't showing the Mike on some occassions that he looked drugged up and not well( maybe they're saying this because he wasn't having a goodnight sleep or DRUGGED UP!) ------ THIS WAS ACCORDING TO THE TINI FANS!

I don't want to question them because they were there, I wasn't there BUT watching the docu. film, and from what the people who were there with Mike during the rehearsals said Mike was so excited, vibrant, eager, can not wait, into it, and pretty much will and can make it to do 50 shows, my saying would be-- I believed what I saw that Mike was not sickly, Mike was really thin, and (NOT but) Mike was well enough to do 50 shows!

I feel bad this has to happen---- some fans even when Mike was still alive, some fans were annoyed that Mike had to mime or lip synch during his LIVE concerts, why can't they just be thankful and happy that Mike was performing infront of their two eyes???? So this agreeing and disagreeing attitudes have been there even when he was stil alive how much more now that he is not here anymore...?... This is really sad...

Basically there is a group of fans that would follow Michael around all time! They're sayin that AEG and everyone else involved knew that Michael was overworked and very thin and not eating. They also say that some people knew about Michael's propofol use. They claim that everyone knew all this and did nothing. Karen Faye also believes this and basically if you don't agree with them they will harass the hell out of you!'

I personally don't believe it. Michael was thin but no thinner then he has been in the past. They also say the autopsy results are fake. Michael weighed more then he did when he passed then he weighed during the trial I believe.

Karens overall attitude has amazed me, she is on Facebook and since I added her after Michael died I've been shocked. It's almost as though she uses Michael's fans to her advantage, if someone does anything she'll tell everyone about it and of course the fans will tear them to pieces. I don't know if she's as bad as she used to because a few fans retaliated against her, some people were actually friends with the people everyone was attacking, then there was the incident of posting Michael's grave on there.

I don't really know what to say or think about Karen Faye but I haven't really noticed fan fighting....probably cause MJEOL is the only MJ site I really visit and people are pretty cool on here. We all disagree at times and some of get (like me) a little hostile but at the end of the day we all are cool with each other again and we respect each other, and each others opinions. Because...at the end of the day there is something bigger than all of us that connects us all together. And that is the love, admiration, respect we feel for Michael Jackson.

If I ever get angry or hostile it's not directed at anyone here but at the situations I read about or see happening concerning Michael.

I can't believe the things TINI said. I believe Michael weighed the weight he did when he died. I can't believe he needed help walking around and Ortega had to help him cut his food so he could eat it...I just can't see that when I saw him dancing on those rehearsals and singing. Of course they're just that...rehearsals and not him at his full capacity but it was still very much a very alive and concentrated Michael at work, taking everything seriously. Even hearing him talk about his respect for the planet....how could someone that was on drugs speak so intellectually like that? But Michael did take a lot of medication...whether it was for pain or other reasons. I can't deny that. How do I know that all of that, that entire film was not planned?

How do I know everything was planned or not prior to his death? I just don't know and I will never know. All I know is that I miss the hell out of him everyday and there will never be another Michael for me..

What I particularly dislike is the way she attacks Kenny Ortega, AEG, Michael's lawyers, etc. She acts as though they wanted Michael to die and were all in some kind of plot to kill him. That's so ridiculous. They were going to make a fortune on those concerts.

On Twitter she keeps moaning about how heart-broken she is, she can't get over it, etc., etc., as though it's all about her. She's upset about the estate lawyers signing the contract with Sony, like they were in a plot with Sony, too. Michael's problems with Sony mostly had to do with Tommy Mottola. Sony is the only record company big enough to pull this off. After Motown, Michael was always with Epic/Sony. Karen thinks the family is being shut out and should be included in decision-making, but Michael left them out of his will and the court has said they have no standing. I'm happy the estate lawyers are taking such good care of Michael's body of work and his children will be able to benefit from it.

Before his death, Karen was enthusiastic about the concerts. One more thing - she knew him for many many years and must have been aware of his abuse of prescription drugs. Why didn't she do anything about it? She blames everyone else.

I think she's nuts, personally, and enjoys all the attention she's getting from the fan community.

That's really sad. She didn't act like this when he was alive. I think she should get professional help (threpiest), she really needs it.

I think you're right about that. She's obcessed and it's not healthy to behave like this in public. It makes her look ridiculous.
