Let me start by saying that those who would have us believe we are powerless, irrational and only concerned with the trite don't know the Michael Jackson Community at all. There have been several major projects concerning the Media, education, charities and culture to which we have successfully and positively influenced.

CadeFlaw (CADe Flaw) has passed another milestone.
What's CadeFlaw??
"The California Anti-Defamation Legacy Law Advocates (CADeflaw) is a non-profit, charitable and advocacy organization which has been in existence for two years.
Our advocacy is narrow and specific. We want to have a law passed in California allowing for family members of defamed deceased persons to sue for civil damages"
On May 11, 2012 the draft of the law prepared by a CadeFlaw member was accepted by The California Legislative Counsel. The initiative has a number and has been assigned a legislative counsel who will be drafting the language initiative."
After the draft is ready it will be reviewed by three other counsels in the office; they will sign off on it and it will then go to the CA Attorney General's office. A copy will be sent the Mary Brookins, Administrative Director of CadeFlaw.
The paperwork and red tape is far from over, but this Initiative is moving and we will continue to submit to the CA Legislation as many times with as many rewrites as it take to get the job done.
