THE most interesting part of the Michael Jackson pedophilia case isn't what's happening on the witness stand – it's the catfight between foxnews.com's gossiper Roger Friedman and Vanity Fair's Maureen Orth. According to radar.com, "Friedman, who frequently labors under the delusion that others are stealing his scoops, accused Orth of being a 'clip queen' during a recess." Friedman is still angry over a MJ profile Orth did for Vanity Fair last year that he thinks echoes his Web site reporting. When Friedman made his catty comment, Orth replied: "I hate to tell you this, but you're a laughingstock. I didn't even know you were a reporter." A few days later, Friedman's cellphone went off in open court, causing a bailiff to escort him to the overflow room for a week's detention. Once there, Friedman immediately began griping about the prosecution so loudly that the bailiff had to move him to the back of the room, which Orth delightedly renamed the "dunce's corner." Friedman's luck has not gotten any better: Yesterday, he got a ticket for jaywalking outside the courthouse. Neither Friedman nor Orth returned calls.
