I don't ever remember not being a MJ fan. My earliest memories from my childhood are of being a Michael Jackson fan. My first MJ memory was around '83 or '84 and my aunt was babysitting me and my younger brother. I was sitting in the living room and I saw Billie Jean on MTV. I was glued to the tv because I wanted to know why every time he took a step the ground lit up. I couldn't figure out how he did it, and why the hell it didn't work for me. I was just hooked. Thriller solidified my fandom. I was terrified to watch it, but I couldn't wait for it to come on. Michael was and always will be magical to me.
