Ray Benzino, CEO of The Source has co-signed BET´s decision to pull the latest Eminem´s video "Just Lose It" from their rotation. The Source is demanding that the song "Just Lose It" be pulled from Eminem´s upcoming album and a public apology from Eminem to Michael Jackson.

The first single and video from Eminem´s upcoming album, Encore, pokes fun of Michael Jackson. In one scene, Eminem wears Jackson´s trademark red jacket with kids bouncing around on a bed and in another scene he raps: "Come here little kiddie, on my lap, guess who´s back with a brand new rap. And I don´t mean rap as in a case of child molestation."

"For too long influential people in the hip-hop community have stood by Eminem while he has made a mockery of the culture that inspires and motivates our young people to achieve and be proud of their black heritage," said Benzino. "I am proud of both Robert Johnson of BET for pulling the video, and for comedian Steve Harvey for urging MTV and VH1 to do the same. We as the leaders in the Hip-Hop community and music industry need to step up and realize that Eminem´s lyrics and actions are tearing down the very culture that people like Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, and Public Enemy have built from the ground up. I urge all members of hip-hop to come out and support Jackson, one of the most important, cultural icons of our time. No one should stand behind this mockery and by supporting the airplay of "Just Lose It" we are giving Eminem a way out."

Benzino and Eminem hate each other and both have had "beef" songs against each other but its good to see that Benzino now has a valid reason to stand up against Eminem and support Mike.

Benzino is a horrible rapper, which is why the battle between Em and him never really went anywhere for Benzino. But this video is giving feul to the fire. Em was a racist when he made those remarks about Black women, it doesnt matter that he said sorry, the truth always comes out when you think no ones watching. Good on Benz.

I would hate his support for Michael to be tainted with a beef he has with Em. I realize in the biz it's hard to just "let go", forgive and forget, move on. But you know...I'm hoping it's genuine support.

In other words, I hope he really does support MJ, and not just because it happens to be Eminem, his nemesis.

Exactly, Eminem makes fun of people in a malicious way. Why can't people see that? Or is it cause it's Michael that everyone is defending the video so much? Since he's such a "freak" & all! I agree with eveything Benzino said.
