The Night Sky
I lay down my head,
And look at the sky,
The stars are twirling,
And twinkling so high.
I see the constellations,
Of Pisces, Aries and Taurus,
Compiling the pictures,
That give a meaning to all of us.
The reasons of life,
Staring down at me,
An all too clear image,
Of what was to be.
I see into the past,
And into the future,
Of a lost day and age,
Of looking forward to find closure.
But why is it so,
With all this insight,
I can't find me,
I'm lost inside.
All of the stories,
Conveyed by the stars,
I am not mentioned,
Even if I look for hours.
After all is said,
I'll be lost forever,
But in you I find,
A key for all that I treasure.
The sky has everything,
I accept that fact,
But you are the only star,
That lives in my heart.
I lay down my head,
And look at the sky,
The stars are twirling,
And twinkling so high.
I see the constellations,
Of Pisces, Aries and Taurus,
Compiling the pictures,
That give a meaning to all of us.
The reasons of life,
Staring down at me,
An all too clear image,
Of what was to be.
I see into the past,
And into the future,
Of a lost day and age,
Of looking forward to find closure.
But why is it so,
With all this insight,
