why we can\'t be honest even with us?

i keep hearing a lot of things on this forum and in a lot of other places. and i don't understand something:why can't we be honest about Michael?
some peolple seam kind of pleased to know that Michael had porn in the house.and others are so excited when they see a picture with Michael where maybe poor him was tired or not carefull enought and maybe the trousers are too tight and we can see a bit more than we expected.
why we feel the need to proove that Michael is a man and he has a normal and sweet intimate life?
i think we kind of lie.any of us will be upset if Michael will be really into that adult stuff.i'm not upset because i know it was just some stupid fun with the boys and nothing more.no girl will like a man that knows all the adult movies,no?
and i know that we will be angry if Michael will let us see something ,if he will dress in a certain mode just to be provocative and admired.we make jokes because we know how sweet and shy he is.
and i agree he is a great man and he knows what love is and he can be very sensual but lets be real: this private life was never easy for him-his life was too hard ,so he doesn't act like a common man.and i appreciate that.
i liked that he refused Tatum when he was young because that shows he knows what he wants and he judges with his heart.

so why we pretend?and what is your opinion about the man behind the star?

honestly, with all do respect but no one knows Michael but Michael Joseph Jackson himself! aight? What we know about him is what we see, hear and read....
I use to be fascinated with trying to know more about him personally, but what happened to just appreciating his music?
If u wanna know who Michael is... listen to his music.
And i dont care about how much porn he owns or what ever, that doesnt change the fact that he is an amazing man.

There's not a need -- at least with me -- to "prove" he's a man. We already know that. Some people want to discuss the issue.

I'll speak for me. I was going through some old photos and saw that cute one where he was zipping up his pants. It cracked me up and I knew it would crack other people up too who probably hadn't seen it in a long time like me. So I posted. That had nothing to do with trying to "prove" he's a man.

As for the adult material thread, I think the original poster had a question about the validity of the amount which someone claimed they found in his house. And a lot o the thread was people correcting the number.

I don't think anyone had an agenda to "prove" he was a man.

If you don't want to talk about what you say is intimate stuff, then don't. It's really that simple.

i didn't refer to that photo-that's funny.i was talking about the ones in the gold pants.i like to talk about this but i think we should try to think about the Michael we know and not a fantasy.and give him the proper respect.
of course we don't know everything but he was pretty honest with us.

but one is on stage and other off stage.
i like that he is sexy

but we got to know where to stop because he deserves our respect too not just our admiration

I agree. If he doesn't want us to think about him that way why is he singing songs like In The Closet?
Just because I see him as a sexual human being doesn't mean I don't respect other sides of him. It's just one part of life and I see nothing wrong with that. I admire him as an artist, humanitarian, a great person and a very attractive man.

That's not all we talk about here. Just because we make fun and laugh about certain things that doesn't mean we don't respect him. I think admiration and respect kind of go hand-in-hand around here.

We don't know 'the man behind the stage.' Maybe some people think they have an idea...and all we can do is speculate. If I were to, I'd say...Michael isn't exactly who a lot of people think he is because he doesn't let everyone see certain sides of his personality...and that is true. I'm sure Michael wouldn't find any disrespect in what has been said here in MJ Convo, whether or not it's embarassing, I know that he's quite flattered to learn when people think he's sexy. Who isn't?

Maybe you don't stick around enough, but we have had plenty of discussions about less-funny and humorous things concerning Michael. Don't go around assuming that we don't respect him because our choice of discussion doesn't always suit you. Michael isn't this all-serious-all-the-time figure. We don't have to be limited to a certain point of discussion.
