I got this from contactmusic.com

Cash-strapped MICHAEL JACKSON is planning to sell his famed Neverland Ranch on a US reality TV show. The sprawling estate, once perfectly maintained, has gone from magical fantasy land to ghost town since the singer deserted the California property in July 2005. Jackson is hoping to sell the ranch - with its abandoned zoo and amusement park - by featuring it on US cable network Bravo. The embattled star, who left the US after being cleared of child molestation charges, wants to sell the property for $50 million (GBP26 million) and is negotiating with the network to sell it on their reality show MILLION DOLLAR LISTING: HOLLYWOOD. A source tells US publication National Enquirer, "Michael needs cash - and fast. By making the show the exclusive agent for the Neverland sale, he can get some up-front money real quick. "The show will have exclusive access to Neverland and can do numerous segments about selling one of the most famous residences in the world. Michael is in a bad way. "He is running out of funds and appears distraught. He showed up at a meeting last week with his pants inside out! He's a mess." 19/12/2006 20:00

I seriously don't believe this crap at all:eek:hnoyoudidnt The pants inside out part should tell you that. Just another tabloid story:8-26-03ranting:

This story is basically a carbon copy of the little "featurette" 'Really Rich Real Estate' on Vh1 did about the ranch a couple weeks back. They hyped it up, making it sound like he was selling it to them and giving them access to it, when really, all it amounted to was them flying in a helicopter over the property and talking about what they would do with it IF it were sold to them. They even touted the Prince of Bahrain as their way to contact him, even though it's public knowledge that he cut his business ties over there and left like what, 6 months ago? :lol

So, in short, this story is nothing but recycled tabloid garbage. Contactmusic as the source should tell you that right there. What about that mosque he was supposed to be building? Yeah, that's right..didn't happen either...:glare:

In summary: If, If, IFF Michael ever sells the place, we would hear about it..above and beyond any crappy, online article. Michael's enemies have been salivating for this for what, like 10 years now? And IF it ever did (a pretty big 'if' at this point), it would go for more than 50 million.. ;)

So, until or unless anything like that happens, this should be regarded as exactly what it is..tabloid trash. Until then...thread closed.
