A photograph in today..s, (October 11, 2006), New York Daily News, allegedly depicting Michael Jackson in women..s shoes and clothing IS NOT Michael Jackson.

Mr. Jackson has not visited Saint-Tropez in recent years, nor has he donned a
women..s hat and pumps for disguise.

Mr. Jackson is demanding that the New York Daily News offer an apology and retraction, or he will refer the matter to his attorneys for further action.

Within 24 hours of the above statement, The New York Daily News offered a retraction of their story.

CORRECTION
Yesterday, The News ran pictures identified as depicting Michael Jackson in Saint-Tropez wearing women's clothing. Jackson's reps denied the photos are of Jackson, stating that "Mr. Jackson has not visited Saint-Tropez in recent years, nor has he donned a woman's hat and pumps for disguise." The News regrets the error."

I haven't seen the paper nor have I been able to find it on the web. It may have been published in the paper itself.
