Just a little something I decided to write. I hope you like it.
The Archangel Michael
I was all alone crying in despair
Thinking to myself, 'I can't go on like this anymore'
All my happiness was gone
I had nothing left and I just didn't care
Then the Archangel Michael came to me
and he embraced me gently and rocked me like an infant
His voice so calm and sweet, as loving as could be
'Do not cry, my child', he said to me softly
as I took in his comforting words and he dried my tears
'You don't realize how wonderful you are. You have nothing to fear.'
He put his hands on my face, and looked in my eyes
and he told me, 'You are more than you think you are. Now is your time to fly,'
So go now, my dear, and spread your wings
and show the world you can do amazing things.'
Then he took my hand, and before he said goodbye
he whispered in my ear, 'Remember I am always with you
and if you fall, I will lift you up high.'
After that, my tears were dry, and on that day
I realized that as I went through life
I would be okay
