Is that the same man who walks with Michael Jackson by his side everyday?

Michael bodyguard: Mr. Culkin please walk with me this way.

Mac: Where is Michael anyways?

At the outset of his cross-examination of Culkin, prosecutor Ronald Zonen asked the actor about a trip he once took to Bermuda with Jackson and other friends. During that vacation, Culkin confirmed that the singer gave him an expensive Rolex watch, but discounted the gift's significance. "I didn't see it as crazy. I was not a person without means, said Culkin. "It was not that awe inspiring."

Prosecutors have alleged that Jackson, as part of a pedophilic "grooming" process, has frequently given expensive gifts to his underage male targets, as well as their family members.

As prosecutors have done previously with alleged abuse victims Wade Robson and Brett Barnes--both of whom testified that Jackson never molested them--Culkin was asked whether the entertainer could have fondled him while he was sleeping. "As far as I know that never happened," Culkin testified. "I find that unlikely."

Ah, Zonan can burn in hell for all I care.

I honestly think Maculay is a very intelligent and nice guy despite his own recent problems.

First of, thanks Mac for testifying!! 16 minutes on the stand only? That's a good sign. Shows that there are no unclear things to debate over.

Second, screw Friedman and Demon. Wow... They all said Mac's testimony could be a problem for the defense and now they must feel so stupid!!

Third, so now the alleged victims (I'm talking about Wade, Brett and Mac here) have to prove that they were not fondled while they were sleeping? OH MY GOD!!! How do Zonen and Sneddon know for sure that MJ didn't fondle them in their sleep? Now, THAT's a question the defense should ask!!!
Seriously, how come there was no objection to that from the defense???

In a bid to counter Culkin's testimony that he has never been approached by law enforcement officials about the abuse claims, Zonen asked the actor whether he (or his representatives) had, over the years, rebuffed interview requests from investigators. Culkin said he was unaware of those requests.

I feel bad that they have been dragged into this.

They're trying to find something to get him lie, or at least question his credibility. They sure would wish to find something to impeach him.. Doubt they will find anything..

BillyJeanLover--I want to reply to something you wrote at the end of yesterday's thread. You were concerned about the jury, which is not sequestered, hearing all the negative news reports. That may actually be good, because the jury has actually seen everything that happened, and then they listen to all the negative spin--since they know what they've heard, they are in the best position of anybody to observe how distorted the media is. They can deeply experience the negative bias, rather than being manipulated by it...this could blow up in the face of the prosecution. Also, members of the jury must be laughing inside at some of the the things the media says about them. "The jury was very interested in Sneddon's cross-examination." I could imaging them thinking, "Wanna bet, that attorney drives me up the wall, what an ***hole he is!" Stuff like that. I think, if anything, the jury will resent what the media has been saying and their sympathies will go more toward Michael.

THERE YOU GO MAC. Mac answered all of the innuendo PERFECTLY. FREAKING PERFECTLY. THey asked Mac about all of the porn and whether it was consistent with him being "child-like" and he said "absolutely yes" and that just becaues he was child like didn't mean that he still wasn't an adult. WOW...YES MAC YES.

In a follow-up, Zonen asked if Culkin had ever slept with any other 35-year-old men. "Not that I remember," the actor testified. "But I wasn't friends with any other 35-year-old men who understood me."
