How did you find MJEOL?

So, how did'ya?

I found it through KOPD (yes, KOPD). They mentioned MJEOL on there in someone's post, and I hadn't heard of it... So! I thought I'd go check it out! And I really liked the site... And then I discovered the FORUMS!!!

What made me initially like the forums is that it was all factual! No rumours! AND most people use proper grammar on here! Seriously, you go over to MJNO or KOPD and you hear members saying, "ohh i luv mj he teh best!" :lol

And then I had some problems with the admin over at KOPD, so I decided to come here! And I've been here ever since!

I read about MJEOL in Karen's Corner over at MJJSource. I wasn't a member of any other fan site, and since I immediately loved the forums and the people in here, I decided to join. I think I lurked for about three days before I registered.

It was three years ago and I looked at a lot of links to MJ sites and came to this one. The people were very nice, so I've been here ever since.

I first came to MJEOL in January of 2004. I was really active on MJJF at the time, so I think I found the link through someone's profile on there or something, LOL. It was right around the time of Michael's first arraignment, right afterwards, and so I was reading around a lot of forums, reading about people's experiences at court and Neverland afterwards and feeling sorry for myself, because I ALMOST went (long story, lol..I MORE than made up for it later, though... ) but couldn't. But I came across this forum and joined. Right away, people greeted me, really warmly. I didn't post too much at first, but as time went by, I became more and more acquainted with the forum and came to feel at home here. I lurked quite a bit, and I still do.

:lol And I never understood why. I mean, yes, we're a smaller community, but there are are lot of small MJ communities out there where the members can't spell. :idontknow :lol

Like Carla, I found MJEOL while browsing the net! I registered straight away, but lurked for a few months! I dunno, I just couldn't pluck up the courage to post, (try shutting me up now though):lol I'm glad I did post in the end though, because the other members were fantastic and made me feel right at home! I've never even bothered visiting other sites, as MJEOL has everything I need right here! I'm now a life-member in MJEOL, unless of course, I get banned:blink:

This place was much different back in the day. It feels different. I mean, this was back when the Sexy side was PORN CENTRAL. And then whisper finally came in and did a hell no. Too funny!

Well let us see...There was a member who we couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl, no one knew for the longest. The kid ended up being a 'he' and he'd create random threads about silly crap, and then turn around and wonder why no one could stand him. Id get my inbox full of him asking me what could he do to be more well liked. hello?

I'm a decently tolerable person, but that was enough to make you grab the nearest nuclear bomb.

as for the board in general, i remember it was used to be very clique-ish...you'd have your Johnny Depp clique, your wannabe lawyer/news junkie cliques (like myself) who'd breakdown the news from Michael's trial. You had those who camped out on the sexy side ALL DAY and never had a clue about anything else. They'd ask, "OMG, Michael's at court today?! I'm scared!" ....And then those who loved to troll the joint.
